Third-party provider contents and services

The contents on our website may contain third-party provider contents and services which complement our content, such as Google Maps content, YouTube videos and third-party graphics. Your IP address usually has to be transferred when accessing these third-party services. This enables these providers to collect and store your user IP address. We endeavour to only include third-party providers which use IP addresses exclusively for delivering content. However, we have no control over which third-party provider may store the IP address. Such storage may occur for statistical purposes. We shall notify our users immediately should we obtain knowledge of third-party provider storage activities. Please also refer to the special data protection declarations for individual third-party service providers whose services we use on our website in this respect. These are also included in this Data Protection Declaration.

Provision of chargeable services

If you wish to use the chargeable services offered on our website, we may have to collect additional data from you for invoicing and security purposes. This data usually includes your name, valid email, and possibly your address and phone number as well as other information, depending on individual circumstances. This data may also refer to contents which enable us to check the data you have entered, such as your ownership of the email you have given. For legal reasons, we are obliged to ensure that you are in fact able to receive the services offered and that we will be able to properly invoice you for them. We use SSL encryption, recognisable by "https://" in your browser's address bar, for securing your data when processing payment transactions.

Encrypted payment transactions

We secure your data when processing payment transactions. Our website therefore uses SSL encryption to secure your data and protect your sensitive and personal contents when transmitting payment transaction data. You can see for yourself if SSL encryption has been activated. You can recognise the use of this encryption in the address bar of your browser. The data transfer has been encrypted if the display changes from "http://" to "https://". The browser address bar display "https://" shows that SSL encryption is being used and that payment transactions are now encrypted. By activating SSL encryption, third parties are unable to read your sensitive data. Please therefore always ensure that the SSL encryption is activated when sending data.

Objection to advertising emails

We are obliged by law to publish our contact details in the legal information section of our website. Third parties sometimes use these contact details to send unwelcome advertising and information. We herewith object to the receipt of any form of advertising materials that we have not explicitly approved. We further reserve the explicit right to take legal steps against the senders of unwelcome and unrequested advertising materials. This particularly applies to spam emails, letters and fax. Please be aware that the unauthorised sending of advertising materials may constitute an offence under advertising, civil and criminal law. Particularly spam emails and fax may result in high compensation claims as they disrupt business operations by overfilling inboxes and fax machines.

Collection of access data

Certain data has to be collected for technical reasons to deliver and present the content on our website. Server logfiles are collected by us or the webspace provider when you access our website. These logfiles do not provide any clues about you and your person. This information consists of the website name, file, current data, data volume, web browser and version, operating system, domain name of your internet provider, referrer URL, the page from which you came to our page and the corresponding IP address. We use this data for delivering and presenting our contents and for statistical purposes. This information helps us to provide and continuously improve our content. We reserve the right to check the data mentioned above subsequently in the event of suspected illegal use of our content.

Server logfiles

Server logfiles are anonymised data which is collected when you access our website. This information does not provide any clues about you and your person, but are technically crucial for the delivery and presentation of our contents. They are also used for our statistics and continuous optimisation of our contents. Typical logfiles include date and time of access, data volume, the browser and version used for accessing our website, the operating system used, the domain name of the provider engaged by you, the page from which you have accessed our content (referrer URL) and your IP address. Logfiles also enable us to perform detailed checks in the event of suspected illegal use of our website.

Security of your data

Gallo Productions implements technical and organisational security measures to protect the data provided by you against accidental or malicious manipulation, loss, deletion and unauthorised access. In the event of personal data being collected and processed, the information is transferred in encoded form to prevent its misuse by third parties. We continuously update our security measures to reflect technological developments.

Reservation to amend this Data Protection Declaration

Both technology and the interpretation of laws are subject to occasional changes over time. We therefore explicitly reserve the right to amend this Data protection Declaration.
